PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably supply oil and also detect abnormality. SOLUTION: At one auxiliary distribution valve 31 supplying oil to a required portion (a) of a forging press machine from an oil supply pump P via a main distribution valve 1 and auxiliary distribution valve 3, the cycle switch 6 in installed, an actual measurment cycle valve H and a set cycle valve G of the auxiliary distribution valve 31 when an oil supply circuit is normal are compared with each other and a pump P is controlled so as to be G/H=1. The control is performed by a change in Hz number of an inverter 8. Because G/H>1 is formed if oil supply amount and discharge amount are reduced due to wear of the distribution valves 1 and 3 and the pump P, for instance, discharge amount of the pump P is increased so as to be G/H=1 by a control device 7 and oil is stably supplied. If G/H exceeds a set range, an abnormality occurs, an alarm is given and the whole of a device is stopped. By a detection signal of an abnormality detection sensor 9, oil is supplied to the abnormal portion a1 via a bypass pipe 10.
