PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet carrying device and an image forming device capable of correctly positioning guide members adjacent to each other in the sheet carrying direction at a sheet delivery part, and surely carrying the sheets. SOLUTION: A second upper guide plate 12A fixed to a side plate 14A by screws 17 and 18A is positioned by engaging a first regulation member 23A provided on a sheet delivery part side on the upstream side with a second stopper 22A provided on the first side plate 14A. Similar positioning is effected between a side plate opposite to a side plate across a sheet and the second upper guide plate 12A.
