PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain containers, such as tableware, having an excellent coating film adhesion property by subjecting the outside surfaces of container body blank made of a polypropylene(PP) resin to a primer treatment, applying a urethane coating material on the outside surfaces thereof and subjecting the coating to prebaking, then subjecting the inside surface thereof to a primer treatment, applying the urethane coating material thereon and subjecting the coating material to normal baking. SOLUTION: The production of the containers is executed by first subjecting the outside surfaces of the container body blank made of the PP resin to the primer treatment, applying the urethane coating material on the outside surfaces thereof and subjecting the coating to the prebaking. Then the inside surface thereof is subjected to the primer treatment, and is coated with the urethane coating material and the coating material is subjected to the normal baking. At this time, the prebaking is executed at preferably <110 deg.C and for, for example, 5 to 120 minutes. The normal baking is executed at preferably 110 to 140 deg.C and for, for example, 10 to 240 minutes. Further, the inside and outside surfaces of a blank may be subjected to a flame treatment before coating of the blank with the coating material. The problem of the PP which is chemically inert and is low in the coating film adhesion property may be solved.
