PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly and surely carry out lock/unlock operation by assuring the reliability of the required regulation pitch of a reclining angle and the meshing of a lock part with a reclining lock structure which is an internal gear type and into which an oscillation lock member is built. SOLUTION: This reclining lock structure of the seat has a first housing 10 which is fixed to a bracket on a back rest side and has an internal gear 13 in an inner side part and a lock gear 30 which is supported to the bracket on the seat side, has lock tooth parts 33 meshable with the internal gear 13 and is locked and unlocked to and from the internal gear 13 by oscillation. The structure described above is so formed that the reclining angle may be adjusted by operating the oscillation of the lock gear. The center of oscillation of the lock gear is, thereupon, set on the peripheral side outer than the internal gear.
