PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relief valve which has a good installing workability being assembled into a single body, and has a high operating quality after the assembling, as well as can be composed in a simple structure and at a low cost. SOLUTION: This relief valve is composed of an installing bolt 13 fastened and fixed to an installing thread 10d which is formed in a relief valve installing hole 10, a valve element 15 fitted slidable to the relief valve installing hole 10, and can contact closely with a valve bearing surface 12 provided at the bottom part, and a compression spring 14 provided between the installing bolt 13 and the valve element 15, and to energize the valve element 15 to the valve seat surface 12. An extending tube 16 is provided on the front end side of the installing bolt 13, a caulking part 17 bending to the inside in the diameter direction is provided in the front end of the extending tube 16, and an engaging collar 18 which can engage to the caulking part 17 is formed at the outer periphery of the inserting end of the valve element 15 into the extending tube 16.
