PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently administrate and utilize the internal information by communicating with an image forming means with a first communicating means, and communicating by a second communicating means in the case another function module exists. SOLUTION: A leader controller receives a command by a serial communication controller 2205, and judges whether the received command can be outputted to an engine control part. A dummy advice of the command execution success is returned to a printer controller via a signal line/CSTS by the serial communication controller 2205. The leader controller outputs the command to the engine control part via a signal line/PCMD by a serial communication controller 2202, and awaits a response. When the command execution is completed in the engine control part, a response is returned to the leader controller via a signal line/ PSTS. Accordingly, the information can be administered centrally so that an image forming apparatus with a good handling operativity can be realized. |
