<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize the space to set a housing box so that a load can be taken in and out as a person is seated in a seat by setting the housing box within the forward space of a battery within a rear cover for covering a motor. SOLUTION: In an electric wheelchair 1, a motor driven by the power from a battery 5 is arranged on the rear side of a footrest space 2a on a body frame 2. These are covered with a rear cover 3 together with rear wheels 4, and a seat with armrest is arranged above the rear cover 3. In this case, a housing box 8 opened toward a footrest space 2a is set on the front side of the rear cover 3. An inner box 8b is attached integrally or separately on the reverse side of a box front plate 8a. The circumference of the box front plate 8a is allowed to abut on a rubber packing 12 to surely seal the contact part between the rear cover 3 and the box front plate 8a.</p> |
