PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a musical sound synthesizing device by which a regular performance of a wind instrument can be experienced only by voice even by a person who can not play an actual wind instrument. SOLUTION: By computing based on a differential equation or a difference equation corresponding to the pronounciation mechanism of a wind instrument, this device is provided with a processor 103 generating a desired musical sound signal consisting of a time-waveform nearly equal to the time-waveform of the sound of a musical instrument, a microphone 101 taking voices therein, and a mixing circuit 105 mixing the consonant part of the voice and an internally geneated periodic waveform (corresponding to the vowel) and inputting the mixed waveform to the processor 103 as the forced vibration term of the differential equation or the difference equation. The processor 103 generates musical sounds in response to the mixed waveform. In this case, the pitch and the consonant of the periodic waveform are let correspond to breathing/tongue- action to control a tone color. |
