PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silicon steel sheet excellent in magnetic properties in the L orientation and in the C orientation by optimizing the steel compsn. and the texture thereof and to provide a method for industrially and inexpensively producing it. SOLUTION: The silicon steel sheet has a texture in which the integrated intensity in the 100}<001> orientation and in the (011)[100] orientation respectively lie in the range of >=2.0 times and in the range of 2.0 to 10.0 times that of the random structure. Moreover, as for the method for producing this steel sheet, a steel slab is subjected to hot rough rolling to form a desired steel structure, immediately after that, it is subjected to hot finish rolling under prescribed conditions, then, as it is, or after its structure is formed into the recrystallized one by hot rolled sheet annealing as necessary, the steel sheet is pickled and is subsequently subjected to cold rolling and annealing. |
