PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily firmly connect metallic terminal boards mounted on a seat plate to the lead terminals of the capacitor body of a chip-type electrolytic capacitor. SOLUTION: A chip-type capacitor is provided with a capacitor body 10 with leads are drawn out in the same direction, and a seat plate 20 which is attached to the sealed port side of the main body 10 and a pair of lead passing sections 21 is bored through the plate 20. In addition, a pair of metallic terminal boards 30 is attached to a bottom face 202 of the plate 20 and round bar-like lead terminals 13 are connected to the terminal boards 30 through the lead passing sections 21. Each terminal board 30 is provided with a terminal board main body 31, arranged along the bottom face 202 of the seat plate 20 and a pair of elastically deformable terminal legs 32, which are successively connected from the main body 31 with a gap which is substantially narrower than the diameter of the lead terminals 13 inbetween. The terminal legs 32 are embedded in the seat plate 20, in such a way that the legs 32 are partially exposed in each lead passing hole 21 and each lead terminal 13 is forcibly put between the paired terminal legs 32 in each lead inserting hole 21.
