PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the height position of the guide rail independently adjustable against the surface of the base and to contrive the miniaturization of an optical disk device by arranging optical pickups in a manner that they face each other along a prescribed radial direction, supporting them so as to make them slidable in the radial direction, and bringing each of the first and the second guide rail end into contact with the first, second, third and fourth inclined faces. SOLUTION: With adjusting screws 12a, 12b rotated at the same angle in the same direction, a rail guide member 10 on the outer circumferential side moves in the radial direction of a disk, and simultaneously, the outer circumferential ends of the rails 2a, 2b each move vertically, adjusting relative inclination in the radial direction against the recording face of the disk 3 in the optical axis of the optical pickup 1. Then, with one of the adjusting screws 12c, 12d rotated, one of the guide rails 2a, 2b, while being moved in the disk radial direction X, is raised or lowered along the inclined face 9b of the rail guide member 9 on the inner circumferential side and that of 10a of the rail guide member 10 on the outer circumferential side, thereby making adjustment of the relative inclination in the tangential direction of the optical pickup.
