PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject liquid hardly causing clogging of liquid-absorbing core and excellent in insecticidal activities by adding a specific compound. SOLUTION: This insecticidal liquid usable for an insecticidal method by transpiration by heating [the one comprising dipping a part of a porous liquid- absorbing core (the one obtained by binding an inorganic powder such as clay with a binder such as a carboxymethylcellulose and molding the product, or the like) to absorb the insecticidal liquid, and heating the upper part of the core to transpire the absorbed insecticidal liquid] contains 2,3,5,6- tetrafluorobenzyl (+)-1R-trans-2,2-dimethyl-3-(2,2-dichlorovinyl) cyclopropanecarboxylate, preferably in a proportion of 0.3-3 wt.%, more preferably in a proportion of 0.3-1.5 wt.%. A 10-18C aliphatic saturated hydrocarbon (e.g. dodecane) is ordinary used as the solvent for the insecticidal liquid.
