PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dielectric ceramic composition, capable of being fired at <=900 deg.C without adding a sintering auxiliary component, and having a high specific dielectric constant even if the composition is fired at such a low, temperature. SOLUTION: This dielectric ceramic composition comprises a solid solution of lead magnesium niobate (Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3) and lead cobalt niobate (Pb(Co1/3 Nb2/3)O3), and having (x) and (y) satisfying the equations 50<=(x)<=90, 10<=(y)<=50 and (x)+(y)=100, when the composition formula expressed in terms of molar ratio is shown by xPb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3.yPb(Co1/3 Nb2/3)O3. |
