PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition high in temperature resistance, humidity resistance, and high-resistant storage stability in the colored state and excellent in decolorizability by incorporating a coloration/decoloration controller in a reversibly thermally color-forming composition prepared from an electron- donating color-forming compound and an electron-accepting compound. SOLUTION: The reversibly thermally color-forming composition is one prepared from an electron-donating color-forming compound (color former)(e.g. 2-anilino-3-methyl-6-dibutylaminofluoran) and an electron-accepting compound (color developer)(e.g. a compound of formula II) and being capable of relatively forming a colored state and a decolored state in response to the difference in a heating temperature and/or a cooling rate after being heated. This composition is mixed with a coloration/decoloration controller being a compound of formula (wherein R1 is a 1-24C hydrocarbon group; R2 is a 1-20C divalent hydrocarbon group; X is -CO-, -SO2-, or phenylene; Y is -NHCONH-, -NHCSNH-, -NHCO-, or -CONH-; and m and n are each 0 or 1). |
