PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device of a simple structure for generating a random number having satisfactory randomness. SOLUTION: From a prescribed voltage generated by one driving power source 12, (n) pieces of voltages V1-V4 are generated by (n) pieces or more of resistors 13-17, these voltages are respectively supplied to (n) pieces of clock generating circuits 26-29, (n) pieces of clock signals of frequencies C1-C4 are generated, these clock signals are simultaneously latched at a prescribed frequency by a clock latch means and (n) pieces of binary data N1-N4 are successively outputted as one numerical value of (n) bits. Since the successively outputted numerical values are random number and are generated in analog manner by the relative relation between (n) pieces of clock frequencies and the latch frequency, randomness is made satisfactory. |
