<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric brake control system capable of prolonging service life and improving fuel economy of a pad and a disc by preventing dragging of the pad. SOLUTION: It is possible to separate an outer pad 4 engaged with a housing 7 from a disc 3 by moving the housing 7 of a caliper 6 in the axial direction of the disc 3 against a carrier 2 when a rotation transmission member 12 reversely rotates (when a motor 8 reversely rotates) by providing a unidirectional clutch 18 to transmit only reverse rotation of a rotation transmission member 11 to reversely rotate when an electric brake control system 1 releases braking force to a ball screw 19 mechanism. Consequently, it is possible to eliminate dragging of the outer pad 4, and it is possible to improve longevity of the outer pad 4 and the disc 3 and to improve fuel economy of a vehicle.</p> |
