PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tilting plasma fusion furnace having a furnace structure for dispensing with separation of furnace accessories in tilting a furnace casing for discharging molten metal, a furnace structure for facilitating suspension of a furnace bottom, and a furnace bottom shaped to let the necessary minimum quantity of molten metal easily remain. SOLUTION: This plasma fusion furnace is so constructed that a furnace casing 2 is disposed in a casing 1 constituting a boundary, the furnace casing 2 is divided into an upper furnace body 3 and a lower furnace body 4 through water-cooled jackets 5, 6, the lower furnace body 4 is pivoted on the inner surface side of the casing to be tilted near the mating surface with the upper furnace casing 3, and the upper end of a tilting jack 8 provided at the bottom of the casing is pivoted on the outer surface of the bottom of the lower furnace body 4.
