PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-sensitive type recording apparatus which is simple in constitution and operation for removing a slack of an ink film and restricts a cost rise. SOLUTION: The apparatus has apparatus main bodies 11, 12, a heat-sensitive head and a platen roller, a film holder 18 arranged along a film transfer direction via the heat-sensitive head and detachably mounted to the apparatus main bodies, a let-off reel 19 set at the upstream side in the film transfer direction of the film holder for supporting and letting off an ink film in a form of a roll, and a take-up reel 20 set at the downstream side in the film transfer direction of the film holder for taking up the ink film passing the heat-sensitive head. Moreover, a film-guiding member 31 is set which guides and moves the ink film slackening between the reels closer to the upstream side or downstream side of the film transfer direction when the film holder detached from the apparatus main bodies is to be loaded to the apparatus main bodies again.
