PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently obtain a high quality metal molding product by avoiding filling failure due to a pin for hole as cast wherever possible. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a pressure sensor 52 which detects when filling of a semi-solid metal billet 12a into a cavity 22 is completed and, first and second hydraulic cylinders 46, 48 for projecting the first and second pins 42, 44 for hole as cast into the cavity 22, after filling of the semi-solid metal billet 12a is completed, based on a detected signal from the pressure sensor 52.
