PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved rotary massager for curing a raw material of e.g. ham or sausage, capable of reducing the total time for the production of fabricated foods than ever, raising the color development, and preventing the casual expansion of the product involved. SOLUTION: This method for producing a fabricated food of e.g. meat by using a rotary massager equipped with a cylindrical tank 1 designed to openably seal its own upper opening by a cover 3, to change its own attitude from the upright position to the flat position, and to rotate in the flat position, comprises: sucking the air within the tank to resultantly set the inside of the tank 1 vacuum or under reduced pressure; and feeding a mixture gas of 70 to 90% of oxygen and 10 to 30% of carbon dioxide into the tank 1.
