FLAME RETARDANT RESIN COMPOSITION FOR TV TRANSFORMER PART ITEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin material that has electric properties and resistance to hydrolysis required for TV transformer part items, as a flame retardancy in imparted thereto in no need of a halogen-containing flame retardant and antimory trioxide that are substances giving environmental load. SOLUTION: The resin components containing (A) 50-80 wt.% of a poly(butylene terephthalate) resin having the amount of terminal carboxyl groups of 50 meq/kg and 0.5-0.8 IV(intrinsic viscosity) and (B) 20-50 wt.% of a polycarbonate resin in amounts of 100 pts.wt. in total are added with (C) 5-20 pts.wt. of red phosphorus, (D) 0.1-2 pts.wt. of a fluorine-containing polymer and (E) 5-80 pts.wt. of an inorganic filler to give a flame-retardant material that is used for TV transformers part items.
