PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester film for coating plywoods which satisfies well-balancedly all of the fabricability, solvent resistance, stain resistance, heat resistance, design properties and surface properties, and a coated plywood (decorative plywood) formed by laminating the polyester film on at least one side of a plywood (particle board). SOLUTION: The polyester film for coating plywoods is a biaxially oriented film made of a polyester in which trimethylene terephthalate units account for 80 mol% or more of the total repeating units and has a heat-shrinkage rate of 0-3% in the width direction (TD) after heat treatment at 105 deg.C for 30 minutes and a center-line mean roughness (Ra) of 5-500 nm. The coated plywood is formed by laminating the polyester film for coating plywoods on at least one side of a plywood. |
