PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner, capable of effecting cooling operation and heating operation by a plurality of indoor machines simultaneously, and capable of making the leakage of refrigerant hard by simplifying the constitution of a refrigerant circuit. SOLUTION: In an air conditioner constituted of a refrigerant circuit capable of effecting cooling operation and heating operation simultaneously through indoor machines B, C, D, the refrigerant circuit is constituted of a first branched unit 10 provided by connecting a refrigerant circuit to a first connecting pipeline 6, a second connecting pipeline 7, indoor machine side heat exchangers 5 for respective indoor machines, a second branched unit 11 provided so as to be connected to a first flow rate control device 9 for respective indoor machines, the first connecting pipeline 6 and the second connecting pipeline 7, and a three- way switching valve 8 provided in the first branched unit 10 to communicate respective indoor machines with the first connecting pipeline 6 or the second connecting pipeline 7 selectively. Non-azeotropic mixture refrigerant is sealed into the refrigerant circuit.
