PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composite-plating device for forming a composite-plated layer having uniform thickness and homogeneous strength on the inner peripheral surface of a hollow member. SOLUTION: A composite-plating liquid 50 is sent from a composite-plating liquid storage vessel 36 to the inside of a cylinder W through a feed pipe 34. At this time, air is fed to the feed pipe 34 from an air compressor 46 and the composite-plated layer having uniform thickness and homogeneous strength is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the cylinder W with the composite- plating liquid coexisting with air. The composite-plating liquid 50 unused for the plating is refluxed to the composite-plating liquid vessel 36 through a return pipe 58. At this time, the temp. of the composite-plating liquid 50 in the composite-plating liquid vessel 36 is kept constant by the action of a heater 60 and a cooler 70 and the pH of the composite-plating liquid 50 is kept in a fixed range by a pH controller 76 under the detecting action of a pH sensor 66.
