PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery forward-drawing device in which a battery is prevented from being brought into contact with a reach leg when the battery of a reach-type battery forklift is drawn, and the number of part items for friction prevention and for engagement is reduced. SOLUTION: A riding plate 10 and a support frame are provided on a back surface of a battery tray 1 and on an upper surface of a reach leg 3, respectively, the battery tray is transferred onto a mast frame 5 so as to be forward- drawn. A forward-drawing hook member is provided on the back surface of the battery tray 1, a drawing hook to be engaged with a drawing plate and a fixing hook to be engaged with a front frame are formed on one end and on the other end, respectively, and the fixing hook is engaged by a pedal to be operated by the force larger than the engaging force of the drawing hook.
