PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for producing laminated wood in which laminated wood can be continuously obtained and in addition thereto, it is prevented that a compression molded body after heating and compression is expanded and the adhesive of a raw material for laminated wood before performing compression is hardened by steam injected in the case of heating and productivity is more raised and high pressure tight formation is enabled. SOLUTION: Both a heat transfer compression process and a cold pressing compression process are performed at the time of at least steam injection in a process for applying a raw material of laminated wood to steam heating compression in a stream heating compression part 5c. In the heat transfer compression process, heat transfer heating compression is performed in a heat transfer compression part 5d being adjoined to one hand of a steam heating compression part 5c and provided and laminated wood is formed. In the cold pressing compression process, temporary compression is performed to a density capable of inhibiting inflow of steam in a cold pressing compression part 5b being adjoined to the other hand of the steam heating compression part 5c and provided.
