摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molten chrome steel casting method wherein the molten chrome steel can be manufactured with a simple manufacturing process at low cost by eliminating such imperfections as center porosity and sag of a billet. SOLUTION: In a molten chrome steel casting method for manufacturing a bloom size billet, a molten chrome metal 11 containing Cr at 10-20 wt.% is injected in a mold 14 and passed through plural billet supporting segments 16a-16k, 17a-17k installed at down stream side of the mold 14 for supporting a billet 15 wherein a solid shell is formed, and further through a pressurizing belt 21 installed at down stream side thereof. The molten metal 11 in the mold 14 and/or unsolidified molten metal passing through the supporting segments 16b-16k, 17b-17k, with exception of the highest part supporting segments 16a, 17a to be exchanged at a mold exchanging time, are solidified by electromagnet agitation in a manner that equiaxed grain ratio of the billet 15 is made in a range of 10-80% when it is solidified. The billet 15 is lightly pressurized with the pressurizing belt 21.
