PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction machine giving no effect on the efficiency of an engine and a radiator and having an air cleaner efficiently utilizing a space. SOLUTION: A front part and the rear part of an upper revolving body 12 are divided by a shielding plate 37, one end of an attachment freely faced upward/downward is attached near the center in the front part, and an engine space 34 and a radiator space 35 for storing an engine 31 and a radiator 32 respectively are provided in the rear part. An air cleaner 44 for filtering air fed to the engine 31 is provided between the attaching part of the attachment and the shielding board 37.
