PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle equipment remote controller capable of preventing the taking-away of a portable equipment while a vehicle is in a used state by verifying the location of the portable equipment in the vicinity of the vehicle if the vehicle is in a used state. SOLUTION: In an on-vehicle equipment remote controller having a vehicle use permitting means for transmitting a code request signal to a portable equipment and permitting the use of a vehicle when a code collation is made for a return code returned from the portable equipment receiving the code request signal, verifying means S30 to S40 are provided for verifying the location of the portable equipment in a vehicle when the vehicle is in a used state. Thus, by verifying the location of the portable equipment in the vehicle when the vehicle is in a used state, the taking-away of the portable equipment with the vehicle in a used state is prevented. |
