PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for printing for facilitating the selecting operation by eliminating complicated labor in the case of selecting any data format of a printer such as a printer driver. SOLUTION: A computer system 1 is connected with a tape printer 2 and an image forming device 3 through a connecting cable SJ and can transmit data for printing selectively for every printer type. The computer system 1 is provided with a CPU for discriminating the tape printer 2 and the other printer excepting for the tape printer 2 and based on the discriminated result, the CPU distinguishes the printer driver of the tape printer 2 from the printer driver of the other printer excepting for the tape printer 2 and displays them on the display screen of a display 5. |
