<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a water-based gloss ink composition capable of carrying out writing without making a handwriting blurred even when allowing a pen point to stand in an exposed state, in relation to the water-based gloss ink composition usable for a writing utensil prepared by directly filling an ink and an ink backward flow preventing unit in an ink housing tube having the pen point attached to one end. SOLUTION: This water-based gloss ink composition contains at least a metal powder pigment and/or a pearlescent pigment, a pigment dispersing agent, a viscosity modifier, water and a water-soluble organic solvent. In the water- based gloss ink composition, the content of water is <=50 wt.% and the water-soluble organic solvent has >=120 deg.C boiling point thereof with >=30 wt.% content thereof.</p> |
