<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video signal transmitter that sufficiently suppresses missing of a transmitted video signal caused by the occurrence of an uncorrectable error. SOLUTION: A reception control section awaits the occurrence of an uncorrectable error in the step S1 during a usual reception and the operation is reset in the step S2 when the uncorrectable error takes place, prescribed processing is executed in the step S3 after awaiting recovery of the uncorrectable error and the control section restores to the usual reception. As the prescribed processing, a processing in the step S7 is provided after the processing in the step S3. Thus, when the uncorrectable error is extinguished in the step S3, system clock recovery in a system clock recovery section and storage of data to a buffer memory are simultaneously started in the step S7. As a result, the time for restoring to normal reception is reduced more than in the case in which storage of data to the buffer memory is started after waiting for frequency locking of the system clock.</p> |
