PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sucker that is characterized by some modifications made to existent suckers for easier release. SOLUTION: A sucker 1 has an air hole 1e extending through the center of a knob 1b from a suction surface 1c to the exterior side. A separate U-shaped leaf spring 7 is fitted within a constriction 1d of the knob 1b. The leaf spring 7 is bent at such a radius of curvature as, while one end is fitted in the constriction 1d, presses the other on the upper end of the knob 1b. The latter spring end is so flatted as to close the air hole 1e. When the leaf spring 7 is fitted in position in the constriction 1d, the air hole 1e is closed to allow the sucker 1 to adhere to a flat wall 3 when pressed against it via the knob 1b. When releasing the sucker 1, the free end of the leaf spring 7 is pulled up in the face of the spring pressure to allow air to flow into a sealed space 5 via the air hole 1e now opened, which facilitates the removal of the sucker 1 from the flat wall 3.
