PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exactly control a pump delivery in accordance with the position of a cam ring. SOLUTION: This variable displacement vane pump is provided with: a flow detecting orifice 62 provided in a pump delivery passage 11; a spool 80 displaced in accordance with differential pressure before and after the flow detecting orifice 62; a cam position detecting hole 81 opened in the spool 80 and for adjusting the driving pressure of a cam ring 70; and a feedback pin 90 for changing the opening area of the cam position detecting hole 81 by following up the cam ring 70.
