SOLUTION: Only metallic matrix 27 is deposited on the inner surface 2b of a cylinder by disposing a columnar electrode having a jetting hole... in the cylinder, applying current between the cylinder block and the columnar electrode while ejecting the fixed quantity of a composite-plating solution 26 from the jetting hole... toward the inner surface 2b of the cylinder and at first, setting the current density generated by the energizing low and after a prescribed time elapses, a ceramic particle 28 is co-deposited in the metallic matrix by setting the current density high. Because the metallic matrix is stuck on the whole inner surface of the cylinder, the metallic phase is firmly stuck.
