PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance transferability, and improve the recovery percentage of particles at the time of transferring the transfer layer of a transfer sheet by the use of solid particle collision pressure on the surface of transferred base material having an uneven surface. SOLUTION: The device is the one utilized for executing a method of transferring a transfer layer to the transferred base material, in which the transfer layer side of a transfer sheet S comprising a support body and transfer layer is allowed to be opposed to the uneven surface side of transferred base material B having an uneven surface, and solid particles P are put in collision with the support body side of the transfer sheet S; which, in use of the collision pressure, the transfer sheet S is brought in close contact with the uneven surface of the transferred base material B in order for the transfer layer to be transferred to the transferred base material B, and is composed of including means on the interior wall of a chamber 33b for collecting the rebounded solid particles the transferred base material B after collision. As such, an accumulation of the solid particles P onto the transferred base material is restrained, so that transferability is enhanced at both the end parts of the transferred base material. Also, a recovery percentage of the solid particles P is improved.
