摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct the attenuation caused when the voltage is changed and provide a high quality which is free from display unevenness by applying, with respect to an electrode in which the voltage to be added is changed to the non-selected voltage added to a scanning electrode, a corrected lighting voltage or corrected non-lighting voltage to the electrode when the voltage is changed. SOLUTION: The voltage waveform in the position of a certain scanning electrode of a certain signal electrode is shown in (a), the voltage waveform of the certain scanning electrode is shown in (b), and the difference in voltage waveform between the both is shown in (c). When the voltage on the certain signal electrode is changed to the non-selected voltage of each scanning electrode (periods of T2-T6 and t2-t6), attenuation is caused (a), (c). A corrected lighting voltage or corrected non-lighting voltage is added instead of the lighting voltage or non-lighting voltage only when the attenuation is caused, whereby the reduction in effective voltage added to each display dot on the signal electrode by the attenuation is compensated since the absolute value of the difference between the corrected lighting voltage or corrected non-lighting voltage and the non- selected voltage is larger than the absolute value of the difference between the lighting voltage or non-lighting voltage and the non-selected voltage.
