PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the loading capacity of a grain tank in a general-purpose combine harvester prepared by carrying a grading device on a mobile apparatus, arranging a threshing part having rotors directed to the left and right thereon and further providing the grain tank on the threshing part. SOLUTION: This grain tank 30 for a general-purpose combine harvester is obtained by making the left and right width of the grain tank 30 coincident with the machine body width, forming the lower part of the grain tank 30 into a funnel shape of an inverted triangle when viewed from the side, transversely arranging a transversely feeding conveyor 89 directed to the left and right under the funnel shape thereof, installing an opening 30c under the left and right terminal end of the transversely feeding conveyor 89, making the transversely feeding conveyor 89 communicate with a discharging conveyor 88 extended to the front and rear under the opening 30c and arranged connectedly to a discharging auger 40 and further installing a conveyor 140 so that grains graded with a grading device can be charged through a grain lifting conveyor 29 from the upper part of either one of left and right lateral parts of the grain tank 30 and extending from either one of the left and right lateral parts in the upper part of the grain tank 30 at a position just in front of a charging part of the grain lifting conveyor 29 in the left and right opposite directions.
