摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct an error due to expansion and contraction or the like by rotation being generated in printing and inspection, and to accurately perform inspection by providing a template in a reference image, and by performing template matching. SOLUTION: A printing inspection device for comparing a printing pattern on the side surface of a cylindrical container with a reference image for inspection is provided with an image pickup device being composed by a line sensor consisting of an optoelectric element such as a CCD. The image pickup device picks the image of a rotating object to be inspected, and obtains the image of two rotations or the like. In the printing pattern, templates 21 and 22 or the like are provided, and a feature point is extracted by the template matching method, thus cutting the inspection image of one rotation that is the same pattern as the reference image from the shooting image. An error such as the inclination of the inspection image and expansion and contraction is calculated by the coordinates of the feature point, and the difference between the inspection image being corrected by the error data and the reference image is obtained, thus detecting an improper point.
