PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an edge section of an image or one dot line from becoming too thick and to prevent thicknesses of a vertical line and a horizontal line from becoming different from each other. SOLUTION: A code converting section A 40 generates a code Dc corresponding to density information of multi-value data Db from the multi-value data Db (image data of plural bits indicative of only the density information). A code converting section B 50 compares a pattern of each pixel of the multi-value data Db with a plurality of specific patterns. When the pattern is coincident with one of the plurality of specific patterns, the code converting section B 50 generates the code Dd corresponding to the coincident specific pattern and when the pattern is not coincident therewith, it generates the code Dd corresponding to the density information possessed by the multi-value data Db. A code data exchanging section 60 exchanges code Dc with the code Dd and to output it as code De. A emission light data generating section 70 generates the emission light data based on the code De but generates the emission light data which are different from each other, when the code Dc is inputted and when the code Dd is inputted.
