PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact paper sheet processing device capable of saving the space by expanding a rear end of a paper sheet to a side of a paper sheet loading means when the rear end of the paper sheet is cut. SOLUTION: In a paper sheet processing device 2 in which a stack paper sheet is saddle-stitched and folded into two, and its end part is cut to book-bind and take out the paper sheet, the folded paper sheet is set across a paper sheet cutting means 30 and a paper sheet loading means 5 in cutting the end part of the bound and folded paper sheet, the folded paper sheet is pressed by a paper sheet pressing means 31, and the end part of the paper sheet is cut by the paper sheet cutting means 30.
