PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine serving as both a dewatering device and a washing machine that can conduct normal washing by stirring a stirrer and also can wash delicate washings by rotating a rotation tank at low speed. SOLUTION: A stirring main shaft 40 and a tank shaft 39 are connected through a collar 49 having splines 51, 52 in the condition of a gear case 20 braked by a brake mechanism 18. Rotation of a motor 15 of washing machine is speeded down by a planetary gear mechanism 21 and is transmitted to the stirring main shaft 40, and furthermore, the rotation is transmitted from the stirring main shaft 40 to the tank shaft 39. Therefore, the rotation tank 7 is rotated together with the stirrer 8 meanwhile, by this manner, delicate washings can be washed by a weak controlled washing.
