PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the uniform distribution of warp code by making the warp code and a weft discontinuous, forming a weft block by closely placing more than a specific number of pieces of wefts, arranging the weft blocks at a certain interval, and melting and fixing an edge of each weft with the outermost warp code in a group of warps. SOLUTION: The wafts F1, F2, F3,...Fn and the warps P1, P2, P3,...Pn are discontinuously woven. When the wefts F1, F2, F3,...Fn are woven, more than two, preferably more than three warps P1, P2, P3,...Pn are closely placed so that they are not moved in the weaving, in a state that the wefts F1, F2, F3,...Fn have the uniform warp code distribution on a machine frame of a weaving machine. Further an edge of each weft F1, F2, F3,...Fn melted and fixed S to at least one warp code including the outermost warp P1, Pn. Whereby the distribution of the warp code at a selvage can be prevented from being close, and the distribution of the warp code of the cord fabric can be unified.
