PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multipole coaxial connector which is simple in constitution, easy to assemble, and low costs for manufacturing and replacing its parts. SOLUTION: A cable assembly 6 has a plate 7, and first conducting members 11 with the central conductor 8 of a coaxial cable 5 soldered thereto are arranged in the shape of a comb on the first plate surface of the plate 7. Second conducting members 12 for connection to an outer conductor 10 are arranged on the second plate surface of the plate 7. After the end of the cable assembly 6 has been inserted into an open space 3 formed between a cover housing 4 and a base housing 2 by opening the cover housing 4, the cover housing 4 is closed, and the end of the cable assembly 6 is clamped by the housings 2, 4. The first conducting members 11 are pressure contacted with a contact 16, and the second conducting members 12 are pressure contacted with a shell 34.
