PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system capable of producing wide and soft illumination light as if plural lighting systems were integral illumination by reducing as much as possible boundaries between plural illumination covers covering a light source when plural light sources such as fluorescent lamps are used as surface illumination in a ceiling or a wall surface. SOLUTION: A fixed frame 5 is installed in the rear side (a light source side) of an illumination cover 4 equipped with a frame 7 having a large opening 6 for passing light and a light diffusion sheet 8 stretched so as to block the opening 6 and forming a flat illumination surface, plural guides 36 are movably held in the fixed frame 5 so as to become perpendicular to the fixed frame 5, and the illumination cover 4 is connected to one end of the plural guides 36 so that the illumination cover 4 becomes almost perpendicular to the guides 36. The illumination cover 4 is fixed to the specified position in the vicinity of the fixed frame 5, and a locking means such as a latch 45 capable of unlocking is installed.
