PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copier capable of providing the result intended by a user by calculating an image area neglecting the size of a document when the user selects the size of the paper sheet. SOLUTION: When a document of monolithic size to be detected is changed, a key is depressed to change a screen, and a key for the size to be changed is depressed to change the size. When an image area is set in this screen, an 'Image Area Set' key is depressed, a numerical value is inputted, and a 'Set' key is depressed to obtain the set screen. When a 'Release' key is depressed, or no setting is made, the image area becomes of the same document size as that the set value. When a B-4 regular size is also used, the regular size can be used by B4Y while the monolithic size is set to B4T though it is restrictive. |
