PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the strength of a side deck and the comfortableness of a cabin relative to an upper frame of a construction machine comprising an outer frame forming an outer edge and capable of supporting the cabin, by bonding a reinforcement plate to an inner surface of at least a part positioned under the cabin, of the outer frame. SOLUTION: In an upper frame 44 capable of supporting a cabin of a construction machine, a side deck 47L is formed by a beam 53 projecting from a bracket 50 and an outer frame 54 of a closed section cylindrical body forming an outer edge of the upper frame 44. A part of the cabin supporting part 55 supporting the cabin, is mounted on the front both edges of the side deck 47L. The longitudinal both edges of a reinforcement member 1 having a C-shaped cross section, are bonded along one side surface 54a of the outer frame 54 mounted on the projecting side end of the beam 53 between the cabin supporting part 55 and the beam 53, and both ends thereof are bonded to the cabin supporting part 55 and the beam 53.
