PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inconel 706 alloy of less segregation and a manufacturing method therefor in an electroslag remelting(ESR) process. SOLUTION: In this ESR dissolution method of an inconel 706 alloy composed of, in mass %, 40.0-43.0% Ni, 15.50-16.50% Cr, 2.30-3.20% Nb, 1.50-1.80% Ti, and the balance Fe and inevitable impurities, the inconel 706 alloy is manufactured by the ESR process wherein cooling velocity at a solidifying time is made at 1.5 deg.C/min or more. Also, an inconel 706 alloy ingot is manufactured by the ESR dissolution method of the inconel 706 alloy wherein dendrite secondary arm spacing of an ingot solidification structure is 200μm or less.
