PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic baking jig seldom reacting with a molding, even in sintering a molding containing alkali metal element components, and seldom causing nonconformities such as the fusing together of the molding and the jig, and cracking of the jig. SOLUTION: A ceramic molding G is enclosed in a ceramic baking jig 1 and baked in a predetermined furnace. At least the surface layer part of the jig 1, including the area to be brought into contact with the ceramic molding G, comprises a reaction-inhibiting ceramic which contains 95 wt.% or more reaction-inhibiting oxides composed chiefly of one or two kinds or more of metal elements selected from among Al, Zr, Mg and Ti (e.g. corundum, magnesia spinel, aluminum titanate, and the like) and 5 wt.% or less Si components in terms of SiO2. Therefore, the jig 1 seldom reacts with alkali metal components contained in the molding. |
