<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small diameter deep-type light washhand basin installed by simple work, kept clean without splashing water around the floor surface to be installed in usage and conveniently used for washing hands by showering on the whole hands. SOLUTION: A small diameter and deep type washhand basin is equipped with a deep type bowl body 1 formed in the shape of a longitudinally long cylinder having an upper opening with the bottom connecting a drain pipe 2 to the bottom 13, a cover section 11 provided to the upper circumference of the bowl main body 1 by opening a space section 15 for the circumferential surface of the bowl main body 1 and a detector 4 set in the space section 15 and detecting an insert in and out of hands to the inside of the bowl main body 1 set in the space section 15. It is constituted of a water supplying ring pipe 31 showering thereon from the whole circumference in the bowl main body 1 provided to the space 15, a water supply pipe 3 connected to the water supplying ring pipe 31 and an opening and closing valve 5 set in a proper position of the water supply pipe 3 and opening/closing the water supply pipe 3 with the detection of the insert in and out of hands for the detector 4.</p> |
